Dr.L.Tomar is one of the distinguished orthopedic surgeons in New Delhi. He has steadily dedicated his time, passion and resources in the field of orthopedics to pioneer innovative and effective approaches for the treatment of his patients. With over 25 years of experience, he has attained recognition and many awards for his incredible surgical expertise and services in the said field.

After successfully obtaining the fellowships of globally renowned FICS-USA and FASIF-AO Switzerland, two leading fellowship association for surgeons in the world, he has emerged as a notable orthopedic surgeon with surgical excellence and remarkable skills to deal complicated issues pertaining to internal fixation. He has attended several orthopedic workshops in India and abroad and has received honors for his prestigious work and practices.

Pursuit to the path of innovation in Orthopedics

With a relentless fervor to advance his medical know-how in orthopedics, he explored new approaches to perform Primary-Revision Joint Replacement surgeries and Minimally Invasive Assisted Navigation Joint Replacement Surgeries. Simultaneously, he continued to treat his patients and work at Ninewells Hospital and Perth Royal Infirmary, a well-known globally recognized health care institution

His proliferating career path began when he attained his MS degree from well-recognized LLRM College. Later, his research and medical work in orthopedics was recognized and awarded by one of the leading universities in the field of orthopedics i.e. University of Dundee, Scotland. He was granted with prestigious MCh degree, which further illuminated his journey to reach the heights in his profession.

He founded Tomar Orthopedics to effectively utilize innovative expertise from different parts of the world in order to provide cutting-edge treatment to his patients. With a mission to convey obtrusive as well as non-intrusive medical intervention in the field of orthopedics, his clinic is equipped with best of experts, state-of-art technology and procedures and works in collaboration with world-renowned doctors & surgeons in the field.

His 25 years experience showcase 30000 successfully conducted surgeries including 5000 joint replacement (hip & knee) surgeries and 2000 spine surgeries. His extraordinary performance in the field has helped him refine his techniques and enhance his expertise. Presently, he is working at Max Super Specialty Hospital, Patparganj, Delhi, one of the best hospitals in Orthopedics in Delhi as Senior Orthopedic Surgeon.

His drive to gain specialization in latest orthopedic technology and to help patients in India promoted him to expertise in complex spheres of spine, Hip & Knee surgery i.e. Balloon Kyphoplasty, Vertebroplasty, Lumbar Laminectomy, Lumbar Microdisectomy, Primary Arthoplasty & Revision Arthoplasty.
